Arnulfo Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aquilino Lluques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Talita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Venceslas to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Basajaun struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Aquilino Lluques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chateaubriand FC. Camilo Venceslas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chateaubriand FC's Edgardo Basajaun was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Camilo Venceslas kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Everardo Eneas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Abastas in the 35th minute of play forced Chateaubriand FC's goalkeeper Everardo Eneas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Chateaubriand FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Abastas made a kick off. In the 61st minute, Ciro Uxio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Claus during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chateaubriand FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Damian Claus hit a great ball. Ciro Uxio in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Everardo Eneas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chateaubriand FC's Arnulfo Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Basajaun in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Lluques saved Talita from getting behind. In the 80thth minute of the game Desiderio Abastas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chateaubriand FC's Everardo Eneas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Desiderio Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Uxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Talita booed when Chateaubriand FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chateaubriand FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Talita had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
