Spectators: 7107 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claudio Erdiano kicked off to start the match. Alejo Mergildo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Isidro Azibar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mateo Cordera firmly grabbed it by the left post. Isidro Azibar took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Cordera. Mateo Cordera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Cloyo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Cordera saved Academia Racing Club from getting behind. After having played for 16 minutes, Roman Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Etxekopar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Roman Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Etxekopar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Lluis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Azibar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marciano Cloyo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Uspallata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marciano Cloyo couldn't finish the play. Isidro Azibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Cordera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Academia Racing Club's Claudio Erdiano got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 34 minutes of play, Academia Racing Club's Claudio Erdiano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Lluis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudio Erdiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Lluis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Erdiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Claudio Erdiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Lluis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Uspallata got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Nastasio. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Cloyo was the one to do the kick off. Roman Etxekopar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Felix Lluis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Claudio Erdiano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Felix Lluis, 1-2. Candido Dalmai shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 67th minute Claudio Erdiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Lluis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Claudio Erdiano came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Academia Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Erdiano couldn't finish the play. Felix Lluis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Erdiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Roman Etxekopar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Felix Lluis made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Academia Racing Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uspallata.
