The audience was convinced that Ruperto Manni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Eneas was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Octavio Bras came free with the goalkeeper in the 11th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonides Luix could save by the left post. Everardo Eneas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Txaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Eneas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruperto Manni's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Diego Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Leo Txaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Everardo Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Chateaubriand FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Liher came free, but Everardo Eneas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chateaubriand FC's Everardo Eneas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Manni in the 29th minute of play. In the 40th minute Ruperto Manni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Eneas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ruperto Manni came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Zucundum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Manni couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto Manni in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Eneas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruperto Manni to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Chateaubriand FC's Octavio Bras made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Luix was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Horacio Liher came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Zucundum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Liher couldn't finish the play. Ruperto Manni succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 57th playminute. Ruperto Manni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Everardo Eneas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Diego Francho came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Zucundum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Francho couldn't finish the play. Leo Txaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Manni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Everardo Eneas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zucundum FC's Ruperto Manni, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Zucundum FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Manni got free with Everardo Eneas in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chateaubriand FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Txaran was slow to take the kick. During this time Zucundum FC's players had a chance to rest. 77 minutes into the match, Zucundum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Claus came free, but Leonides Luix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Basajaun in the 87th minute of play forced Zucundum FC's goalkeeper Leonides Luix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Luix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zucundum FC's goalkeeper Leonides Luix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
