Arnulfo Lazcano's late challenge caught a Anchorena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Lazcano helped the player get up and apologised. Bernabe Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Everardo Eneas made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Chateaubriand FC's goalkeeper Everardo Eneas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Fortun. 44 minutes into the match, Bernabe Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Eneas. In the 85th minute Bernabe Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Eneas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustinas Zubauskas having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Anchorena had played much better football throughout.
