Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Abel Montel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Batavia's Evaristo Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard, long distance shot from Uriel Ermano flew over the goal. Hector Dei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgard Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Dunixi in the 15th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Apolo Francho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Zacarias Pelayo to make any attempt to save it. Evaristo Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Rodas having to interfere. Mataro AFC's Apolo Francho got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Abel Montel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Rodas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Rey in the 33rd minute of play. When Llorenc Lazcano came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Mataro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Llorenc Lazcano couldn't finish the play. Uriel Ermano struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Zacarias Pelayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mataro AFC. Hector Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Pelayo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Llorenc Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataro AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Llorenc Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes in the game, Apolo Rey fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zacarias Pelayo having to interfere. Mataro AFC's Llorenc Lazcano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Batavia. Romeo Joey's late challenge caught a Mataro AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Joey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Romeo Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Sebastian Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apolo Rey made a kick off. If Apolo Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Pelayo having to interfere. The supporters of Batavia booed when Mataro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Etxahun didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mataro AFC's Edgard Rodas got control of the ball when Evaristo Dunixi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zacarias Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Francho in the 63rd minute of play. When Mataro AFC's Apolo Rey in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Batavia's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the game, Llorenc Lazcano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zacarias Pelayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 71 minutes, Apolo Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mataro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Rey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apolo Rey took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zacarias Pelayo. Zacarias Pelayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 81 minutes into the match, Batavia's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Francho came free, but Zacarias Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Hector Dei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Pelayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Mataro AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
