Urbano Bernebe charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Bernebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnoldo Salvidor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Romulo Karlo made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Erramun to make the kick off. Benito Velasco was a little too slow when Aquilino Erramun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-3. If Guillermo Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Salvidor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Karlo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Benito Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Erramun in the 66th minute of play. Benito Velasco made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ladislao Beltran sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Aquilino Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Chaján AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Orosmayo:s goal. In the 89th minute, Aquilino Erramun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Velasco. The goal made the score 0-5. Orosmayo's Romulo Karlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Salvidor in the 96th minute of play. Orosmayo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
