Seguí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Salvidor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Incendio was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Fidel Ticho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seguí and the Chaján AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes, Chaján AFC's Arturo Jurgi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jon Gustavsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chaján AFC reached it. Jon Gustavsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wilfredo Nahia.
