The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felipe George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Caetano having to interfere. Jonathan Osmundo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Orlando Mendez made a precise shot to the right of Gaspar Enetz. Charlone FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Orlando Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rigoberto Caetano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe George in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Villa Crespo got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Abaurre. A collision led to Villa Crespo getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Isidoro Edur hit a great ball. Charlone FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Serafino Venceslao in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Orlando Mendez made the kick off in the second half. Charlone FC's Gaspar Enetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Mendez in the 54th minute of play. The goalkeeper, Gaspar Enetz, was totally fooled by Villa Crespo's Isidoro Edur, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Mendez in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Enetz saved Charlone FC from getting behind. In the 96th match minute, Charlone FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Gines to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Ermengol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Gaspar Enetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa Crespo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
