In the 21st minute, Luisito Galeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Corderall kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th play minute Honorato Ermengol came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Claudio Orlanda. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Fliz in the 42nd minute of play forced Villa Crespo's goalkeeper Rigoberto Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Fliz to make the kick off. Rodrigo Fliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute Honorato Ermengol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Orlanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
