Saturnino Santiago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Manuel Ixona made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saturnino Santiago got free with Manuel Ixona in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliciano Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Ixona having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Feliciano Harkaitz made the kick off in the second half. Victorino Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Feliciano Harkaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Ixona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play.
