Santo Asier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Cebo in the 11th minute of play. Amaichá AFC's Jonathan Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Ugutz in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes Amaichá AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvestre Ospetsu who took care of the corner kick. Xeneizes del Oeste's Santo Asier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Cebo in the 23rd minute of play. When Benicio Bero fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amaichá AFC's protests and gave Benicio Bero a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Xeneizes del Oeste's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Octavio Cebo 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Nestor Santiago might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santo Asier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Santiago ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Amaichá AFC's zone, Donato Ugutz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Telmo came out of the goal and Donato Ugutz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Octavio Cebo made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavio Cebo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santo Asier saved Xeneizes del Oeste from getting behind. Raul Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jonathan Telmo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Cebo in the 68th minute of play forced Xeneizes del Oeste's goalkeeper Santo Asier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Ugutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jonathan Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Octavio Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Asier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Cebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Larpe's late challenge caught a Amaichá AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Larpe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Xeneizes del Oeste getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Evaristo Larpe hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Benicio Bero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santo Asier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Donato Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
