In the 17th minute, Teodoro Benitez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Chasicó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Teodoro Benitez sped through Chasicó's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Toribio. Lino Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, Chasicó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Benet to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Martillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Sol came free, but Lino Platon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Benitez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Clemente Toribio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Emanuel Hulberto charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lino Platon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Aballe in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Sol made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Martillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Benitez. Eulalio Bartuelo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 56thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Lino Platon would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Chasicó's Clemente Toribio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Benitez in the 60th minute of play. Lino Platon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Sol, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The excitement rose when Chasicó's Sergio Benet after 68 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Martillos FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 3-1. In the 72nd minute, Teodoro Benitez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Toribio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Benitez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Toribio was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Lino Platon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Aballe in the 77th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Virgilio Gagriel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Clemente Toribio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Benitez in the 89th minute of play forced Chasicó's goalkeeper Clemente Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chasicó's Sergio Benet got a free kick in the 94th minute. Teodoro Benitez struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Clemente Toribio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martillos FC. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Martillos FC had played much better football throughout.
