Hector Cutberto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. The referee gave Breas FC a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Remigio Guzman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Martillos FC's Lino Platon. 1-0. Virgilio Gagriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th match minute, Breas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Panfilo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Lidon in the 31st minute of play forced Martillos FC's goalkeeper Lino Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Bemabe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lino Platon came out and tried to block the shot, but Primitivo Bemabe slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. Bernardo Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Nel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Hechter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Teodoro Benitez took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Hechter. Benicio Hechter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bernardo Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martillos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Nel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Hechter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martillos FC's Bernardo Nel got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardo Nel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Hechter having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Sebastian Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benicio Hechter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Gagriel in the 55th minute of the match. If Bernardo Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the game, Virgilio Gagriel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benicio Hechter. Virgilio Gagriel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. In the 68th minute, Virgilio Gagriel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Hechter was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. 76 minutes into the match, Breas FC's goalkeeper Benicio Hechter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Gagriel. After having played for 79 minutes, Bernardo Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Nel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bernardo Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Virgilio Gagriel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benicio Hechter, 3-4. Lino Platon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Panfilo in the 91st minute of play forced Martillos FC's goalkeeper Lino Platon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Breas FC's goalkeeper Benicio Hechter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Breas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Martillos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
