An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Baristo in the 10th minute of play forced Marpla FC's goalkeeper Cesar Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Haroldo Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Monte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guido Baudelio was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Teo Tiso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Marpla FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Tiso was the one to do the kick off. Marpla FC's Cesar Rufo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Marpla FC from getting a goal against them. When Casimiro Ramirez fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marpla FC's protests and gave Casimiro Ramirez a yellow card for diving instead. 59 minutes into the match, Marpla FC's Teo Tiso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guido Baudelio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marciano Baristo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Tiso couldn't finish the play. FUNKYMusic were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Marpla FC to leave the ground with a draw.
