Claudio Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cesar Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Tiso, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Generoso Larpe came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Marpla FC's Aquiles Monte. But to his dismay, Aquiles Monte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arturo Loren took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Rufo. Cesar Rufo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Claudio Sotil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cesar Rufo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Claudio Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Generoso Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Tiso in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Denis Pitin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Generoso Larpe skillfully saved the ball. When Aquiles Monte came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Marpla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Monte couldn't finish the play. Claudio Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Rufo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Arturo Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pachu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Loren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Rufo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cesar Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Loren in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Marpla FC booed when Pachu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Patxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Loren was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Claudio Sotil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Monte got free with Generoso Larpe in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Sotil in the 57th minute of play. When Enrique Victoro fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marpla FC's protests and gave Enrique Victoro a yellow card for diving instead. Enrique Victoro hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Aquiles Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Tiso in the 70th minute of play forced Pachu FC's goalkeeper Generoso Larpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Teo Tiso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marpla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teo Tiso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Larpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Pachu FC's goalkeeper Generoso Larpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquiles Monte. Benigno Patxi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Generoso Larpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Monte in the 81st minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
