Marpla FC's Cesar Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Cloyo in the 5th minute of play. When Casimiro Ramirez fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marpla FC's protests and gave Casimiro Ramirez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Marpla FC's Casimiro Ramirez got a free kick in the 6th minute. Everardo Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cesar Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Cloyo in the 11th minute of play forced Marpla FC's goalkeeper Cesar Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes of play, Marpla FC's Aquiles Monte made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmelo Martxel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute, Everardo Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Tiso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Martxel having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Monte in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmelo Martxel saved MARÍA PAULA F.C. from getting behind. Everardo Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Cesar Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Madeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Cesar Rufo made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Aquiles Monte notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MARÍA PAULA F.C.'s Carmelo Martxel. Carmelo Martxel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Martxel having to interfere. Cesar Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Cloyo in the 44th minute of play. Cesar Rufo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Madeo went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The MARÍA PAULA F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marpla FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquiles Monte was the one to do the kick off. Everardo Madeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bartolo Cloyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Rufo having to interfere. Enrique Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Aquiles Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Enrique Victoro came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Marpla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Victoro couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarias Shepherd during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MARÍA PAULA F.C. booed when Marpla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Victoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Dino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Everardo Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Cesar Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Monte got free with Carmelo Martxel in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Cloyo in the 81st minute of play forced Marpla FC's goalkeeper Cesar Rufo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cesar Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Bartolo Cloyo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cesar Rufo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 93 played minutes MARÍA PAULA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Dino. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
