Maximo Menendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Gentza, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Maximo Menendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Indar in the 7th minute of play. Erubiel Solustiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Roano in the 9th minute of the match. Maximino Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Erubiel Solustiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Joseph in the 13th minute of play forced HOSPITAL EVITA's goalkeeper Erubiel Solustiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eleuterio Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Larroque getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eduardo Ourente hit a great ball. Isaac Gentza's late challenge caught a Larroque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Gentza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Larroque booed when HOSPITAL EVITA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Gentza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erubiel Solustiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Ubelteso in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Eleuterio Atarrabi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HOSPITAL EVITA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Atarrabi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Gentza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Maximo Menendo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes into the game, Javier Onofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Larroque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HOSPITAL EVITA the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Larroque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Onofre to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Larroque's zone, Amado Indar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Menendo came out of the goal and Amado Indar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th play minute Eleuterio Atarrabi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximo Menendo. 2-0. Isaac Gentza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Maximo Menendo made a huge save. Eleuterio Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Maximo Menendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Joseph was the one to do the kick off. Godofredo Gaizko was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Larroque's zone, Eleuterio Atarrabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Menendo came out of the goal and Eleuterio Atarrabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Atarrabi in the 59th minute of play forced Larroque's goalkeeper Maximo Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Gaizkine was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in HOSPITAL EVITA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! When HOSPITAL EVITA's Isaac Gentza in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 86 played minutes Larroque got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Mergildo. Maximo Menendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Gentza in the 88th minute of play. Larroque's Maximo Menendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Indar in the 90th minute of play. Amado Indar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. HOSPITAL EVITA had played much better football throughout.
