No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Perez was the one to do the kick off. Felix Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Naike went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Felix Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Felix Fernandez came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vergara FC's Ivan Naike. But to his dismay, Ivan Naike quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Patricio Musko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Perez went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 72 minutes, Florentino Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Enekoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Perez in the 74th minute of play forced Vergara FC's goalkeeper Patricio Musko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Fernando Perez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Santiago Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Patricio Musko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ivan Naike sent off a good shot on target. Erubiel Restu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patricio Musko. Vergara FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute, Fernando Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 95th minute of the match Ivan Naike completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivan Naike a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ivan Naike hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vergara FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leon.
