Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Innocenzio started the match with the kick off. Nicasio Ederono didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Faron went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Mencué getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Saverio Caitano hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mencué's zone, Leopoldo Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Ederono came out of the goal and Leopoldo Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicasio Ederono came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Portezuelo's Bernabe Rios. But to his dismay, Bernabe Rios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 13 minutes into the game, Arsenio Hulberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mencué's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portezuelo the free kick. A collision led to Mencué getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arsenio Hulberto hit a great ball. Nicasio Ederono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Rios's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Leopoldo Innocenzio made a precise shot to the right of Nicasio Ederono. Mencué's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Nicasio Ederono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Innocenzio in the 22nd minute of the match. Bernabe Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nicasio Ederono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicasio Ederono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Innocenzio's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute Leopoldo Innocenzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Ederono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Vergaray kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Leopoldo Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portezuelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Innocenzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicasio Ederono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leopoldo Innocenzio's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Bernabe Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Ederono having to interfere. If Leopoldo Innocenzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Ubelteso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Leopoldo Innocenzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernabe Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 played minutes Mencué got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Hulberto. Bernabe Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Ederono having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Innocenzio in the 62nd minute of play forced Mencué's goalkeeper Nicasio Ederono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Ederono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Leopoldo Innocenzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute of the match Miguel Valerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicasio Ederono showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mencué's Nicasio Ederono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Innocenzio in the 78th minute of play. Bernabe Rios succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 82nd playminute. In the 92nd minute, Portezuelo's Leopoldo Innocenzio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicasio Ederono. Nicasio Ederono yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5.
