The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Innocenzio in the 2nd minute of play forced Feltón's goalkeeper Desiderio Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Jago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Bernabe Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Desiderio Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Txindoki's late challenge caught a Portezuelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Txindoki helped the player get up and apologised. Bernabe Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Desiderio Jago made a huge save. Mauro Regis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Txindoki, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Victor Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Regis having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Leopoldo Innocenzio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Desiderio Jago. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Bernabe Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Portezuelo's Manuel Indartsu got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Portezuelo's zone, Victor Idacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Regis came out of the goal and Victor Idacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Desiderio Jago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Innocenzio in the 62nd minute of play. When Leopoldo Innocenzio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Portezuelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Innocenzio couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Victor Idacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Regis. Portezuelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Idacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Feltón's Florencio Urtungo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Feltón's Desiderio Jago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Innocenzio in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Bernabe Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Jago. Feltón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Rios in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desiderio Jago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Rios in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Jago saved Feltón from getting behind. Mauro Regis made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Victor Idacio sent off a good shot on target. If Bernabe Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Jesus Chan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Feltón and the Portezuelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Portezuelo fully deserved thier win.
