The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Orlondon got free with Tiburcio Orlan in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mariño AFC's Amancio Fernandez got a free kick in the 7th minute. 19 minutes in the game, Pablo Columbo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tiburcio Orlan having to interfere. Inocencio Orlondon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tiburcio Orlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Orlan made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Inocencio Orlondon sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Herminio Fagondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Inocencio Orlondon came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Mariño AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Orlondon couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Orlondon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Tiburcio Orlan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Mala Leche Futbol Club's Tiburcio Orlan got control of the ball when Inocencio Orlondon tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Pablo Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Orlan having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Pablo Columbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mala Leche Futbol Club's Tiburcio Orlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Inocencio Orlondon came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Mariño AFC fans jumped to their feet. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pablo Columbo to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Pablo Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariño AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Columbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiburcio Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Inocencio Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Orlan having to interfere. When Amancio Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mariño AFC's protests and gave Amancio Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mariño AFC's Amancio Fernandez got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Tiburcio Orlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Orlondon in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Orlan saved Mala Leche Futbol Club from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Columbo in the 82nd minute of play forced Mala Leche Futbol Club's goalkeeper Tiburcio Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mariño AFC's Inocencio Orlondon in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mariño AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
