Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) Portezuelo's Leopoldo Innocenzio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Manuel Indartsu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorino Bakar. Manuel Indartsu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bernabe Rios came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victorino Bakar could save by the left post. Victorino Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Innocenzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Bernabe Rios could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Victorino Bakar however easily saved by the left post. When Tomas Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xeneize's protests and gave Tomas Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Tomas Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Portezuelo booed when Xeneize was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Leopoldo Innocenzio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Victorino Bakar to make any attempt to save it. Mauro Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Ignatius in the 35th minute of the match. Uriel Nevada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Arnoldo Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Ignatius in the 42nd minute of play. Victorino Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Innocenzio in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Portezuelo booed when Xeneize was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Innocenzio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Portezuelo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Ignatius to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Xeneize's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Indartsu came free, but Victorino Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Figueroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 minutes of play, Portezuelo's Leopoldo Innocenzio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Bakar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victorino Bakar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Rios in the 62nd minute of play. Vicente Madeo hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Portezuelo's zone, Arnoldo Ignatius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Regis came out of the goal and Arnoldo Ignatius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Regis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Rios in the 88th minute of play forced Xeneize's goalkeeper Victorino Bakar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Bakar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Xeneize's Tomas Figueroa got a free kick in the 91st minute. A collision led to Portezuelo getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Delmiro Faron hit a great ball. With his leg Mauro Regis managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Xeneize's Arnoldo Ignatius fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xeneize's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
