Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 50) Lonquimay's Maximino Lucila started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Ignatius in the 4th minute of play forced Lonquimay's goalkeeper Fabricio Jesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Ignatius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Fabricio Jesco made a huge save. When Silverio Jaume fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lonquimay's protests and gave Silverio Jaume a yellow card for diving instead. Silverio Jaume hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Ciro Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Jesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Nevada in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Lonquimay's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Ignatius came free, but Fabricio Jesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Lonquimay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Laurgain to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Arnoldo Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Jesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xeneize's attentive Uriel Nevada managed to snatch the ball when Tomas Musko made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. After 24 played minutes Lonquimay got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Guillelme. In the 28th minute, Arnoldo Ignatius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabricio Jesco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lonquimay's zone, Eugenio Cordaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabricio Jesco came out of the goal and Eugenio Cordaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabricio Jesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabricio Jesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Ignatius, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Ignatius in the 38th minute of play forced Lonquimay's goalkeeper Fabricio Jesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute of the game Placido Piorno made a throw-in which Vicente Madeo played forward. Vicente Madeo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Jesco having to make a save. Lonquimay's Fabricio Jesco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Lonquimay from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Ignatius to make the kick off. Lonquimay's Fabricio Jesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Madeo in the 52nd minute of play. Victorino Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Jaume in the 58th minute of the match. Lonquimay's Fabricio Jesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Ignatius in the 59th minute of play. Fabricio Jesco came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Xeneize's Tomas Figueroa. But to his dismay, Tomas Figueroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Fabricio Jesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Gasteiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lonquimay's Fabricio Jesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Gasteiz in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Xeneize booed when Lonquimay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Chinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Sedeni scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Jesco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bartolo Matei made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Maximino Lucila immediately put the ball in play. In the 81st minute Tomas Figueroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Jesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Arnoldo Ignatius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xeneize fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Fabricio Jesco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldo Ignatius went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Lonquimay defense, Tomas Figueroa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Jesco. The Lonquimay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Jesco should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Xeneize were the better team. Xeneize's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
