Ismael Laurin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute Leonardo Oxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Turi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oscar Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Oxel made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Guardaparque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Caetano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Oxel in the 52nd minute of play forced Guardaparque FC's goalkeeper Ruben Turi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Froila during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Sein got free with Ruben Turi in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Efrain Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Turi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Oxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ismael Laurin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Odol in the 88th minute of play forced Deportivo Castro's goalkeeper Isidoro Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismael Laurin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Isidoro Medardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guardaparque FC.
