Spectators: 7016 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Punkrockers Unidos's Adan Oskitz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Leonardo Oxel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Esquipula. Punkrockers Unidos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Oxel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Geronimo Esquipula came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Castro's Oscar Sein. But to his dismay, Oscar Sein quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Deportivo Castro's Isidoro Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Oskitz in the 11th minute of play. Nicanor Formerio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo Castro's Matias Galsino tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Oxel in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Esquipula prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgilio Hunfredo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Punkrockers Unidos's Geronimo Esquipula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Oxel in the 26th minute of play. Oscar Sein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Esquipula having to interfere. If Niceto Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Punkrockers Unidos's Adan Oskitz got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Sein got free with Geronimo Esquipula in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Punkrockers Unidos's Nicanor Formerio pulled a muscle in his back after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Oscar Sein charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Sein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Oxel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Sein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Niceto Gabrio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Isidoro Medardo, 2-1. If Niceto Gabrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Melchor Mogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Urbano Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 77 minutes, Leonardo Oxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Castro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Oxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geronimo Esquipula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Oxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Urbano Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Isidoro Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Oxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute, Arsenio Lizardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Esquipula was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 93 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Deportivo Castro's Oscar Sein fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Punkrockers Unidos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Castro.
