Leopoldo Norino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 21st minute, Arnoldo Romo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tránsito AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Norino got free with Rosendo Ibañez in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Esquipula in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Salamon saved Carmen from getting behind. Eusebio Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Serafino Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Anibal Calvino fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carmen's protests and gave Anibal Calvino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tránsito AFC booed when Carmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Calvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Arnoldo Romo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Rosendo Ibañez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Galoer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Arnoldo Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Salamon having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 60th minute when Arnoldo Romo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serafino Salamon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Esquipula in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Salamon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Romo got free with Serafino Salamon in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Leopoldo Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Carmen's zone, Arnoldo Romo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Salamon came out of the goal and Arnoldo Romo tried to chip the ball over his head.
