Deportivo Castro's Isidoro Medardo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Enzo Javiero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Medardo was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After 9 played minutes Deportivo Castro got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Gaufred. Deportivo Castro's Isidoro Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Soter in the 11th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Luc Saints FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Oxel came free, but Albino Casomiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Sein took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albino Casomiro. Albino Casomiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 29 played minutes Deportivo Castro got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Sein. Deportivo Castro's Oscar Sein got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luc Saints FC's Enzo Javiero got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laureano Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Medardo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Luc Saints FC's zone, Arsenio Lizardi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Casomiro came out of the goal and Arsenio Lizardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Medardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Javiero in the 44th minute. After 46 minutes, Arnoldo Mederi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Castro and the Luc Saints FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Arnoldo Mederi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Isidoro Medardo managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Luc Saints FC's Enzo Javiero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

A collision led to Deportivo Castro getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cleto Gaufred hit a great ball. Enzo Javiero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Isidoro Medardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Oxel in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Luc Saints FC's Teodoro Belo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Albino Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Oxel in the 82nd minute of play. If Leonardo Oxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leonardo Oxel came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Deportivo Castro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Oxel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Javiero in the 92nd minute of play forced Deportivo Castro's goalkeeper Isidoro Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Medardo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Soter in the 96th minute of play forced Deportivo Castro's goalkeeper Isidoro Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Luc Saints FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
