An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Chayo in the 4th minute of play forced Punkrockers Unidos's goalkeeper Geronimo Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Punkrockers Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Che to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Sabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Melquiades Sabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erize FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Sabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paolo Arano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Delmar Xabel had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Nicanor Formerio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 18th minute, Nicanor Formerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Punkrockers Unidos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Melquiades Sabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erize FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Sabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ildefonso Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes of play, Erize FC's Ildefonso Sanchez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Esquipula was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ildefonso Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Sabino struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Geronimo Esquipula didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erize FC. Punkrockers Unidos's Niceto Gabrio got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adan Oskitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Enzo Chayo charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enzo Chayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Erize FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Enzo Chayo hit a great ball. Niceto Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Xabel having to interfere. Delmar Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Oskitz in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Erize FC's Melquiades Sabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geronimo Esquipula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 67th minute, Niceto Gabrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmar Xabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Delmar Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Gabrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute Punkrockers Unidos were awarded a corner. Nicanor Formerio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Adan Oskitz got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-2. 72 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Geronimo Esquipula tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Punkrockers Unidos's zone, Ildefonso Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Esquipula came out of the goal and Ildefonso Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
