Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valentin Galoer started the match with the kick off. Anibal Calvino's late challenge caught a Caraguatay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Calvino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Carmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Calvino to maneuver through the defense. Serafino Salamon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Urdin's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Serafino Salamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Hodei, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Erubiel Hodei came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Caraguatay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Hodei couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Jesus Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caraguatay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Urdin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Salamon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erubiel Hodei struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Serafino Salamon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraguatay. A collision led to Caraguatay getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cristian Txindoki hit a great ball. When Valentin Galoer came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Carmen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Galoer couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Erubiel Hodei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Norino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leopoldo Norino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Norino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Leandro Lluciano made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Leopoldo Norino managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 57th match minute, Caraguatay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Kauldi to maneuver through the defense. Caraguatay's Leandro Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Galoer in the 66th minute of play. If Leopoldo Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Lluciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Galoer, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Caraguatay's Jesus Urdin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serafino Salamon. That made the score 1-1 after 88 minutes of play. Leandro Lluciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Galoer in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Urdin in the 95th minute of play forced Carmen's goalkeeper Serafino Salamon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caraguatay's Jesus Urdin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
