Leopoldo Norino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Turi having to interfere. Fausto Burni's late challenge caught a Carmen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Burni helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guardaparque FC's Fausto Burni got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Ismael Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guardaparque FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Laurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carmen's zone, Ismael Laurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Salamon came out of the goal and Ismael Laurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guardaparque FC's Ruben Turi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Norino in the 35th minute of play. Serafino Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Odol in the 41st minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Carmen getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Valentin Galoer hit a great ball. Serafino Salamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Odol, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Tano during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carmen's Justo Tano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Efrain Odol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guardaparque FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Odol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafino Salamon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efrain Odol struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Serafino Salamon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guardaparque FC. In the 58th minute, Astor Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fausto Burni took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Salamon. Serafino Salamon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.
