Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nestor Richie kicked off to start the match. Olympic F.C.'s Silvestre Garikoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Olympic F.C. from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Rico in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moises Selmo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Higinio Rico sped through Belgrano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abel Barros. Silvestre Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Richie in the 15th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Camilo Txilar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olympic F.C. and the Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ignacio Xacintu fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympic F.C.'s protests and gave Ignacio Xacintu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Olympic F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ignacio Xacintu hit a great ball. Virgilio Koldobika hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Nestor Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Garikoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Higinio Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympic F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olympic F.C.'s Silvestre Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Richie in the 38th minute of play. Haroldo Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Silvestre Garikoitz made a huge save.
Silvestre Garikoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Haroldo Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Israel Cerilo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Olympic F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Cerilo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Belgrano booed when Olympic F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Txilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Vargas in the 78th minute of play forced Olympic F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvestre Garikoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olympic F.C.'s Higinio Rico got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belgrano were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
