Honorio Udalaitz came out of the goal and Nestor Richie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Udalaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Richie in the 16th minute of play forced Lo que quiere la chola FC's goalkeeper Honorio Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Honorio Udalaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Richie took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Udalaitz. Honorio Udalaitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano's zone, Gustavo Canor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Barros came out of the goal and Gustavo Canor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Haroldo Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Udalaitz having to interfere. Nestor Richie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nestor Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Richie made a kick off. If Gustavo Canor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Lo que quiere la chola FC's Andres Fero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abel Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nestor Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Richie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Udalaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Canor in the 84th minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Abel Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Gustavo Canor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Nestor Richie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Richie in the 94th minute of play forced Lo que quiere la chola FC's goalkeeper Honorio Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nestor Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lo que quiere la chola FC booed when Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Koldobika didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Lo que quiere la chola FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgrano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
