The supporters of Independiente Rivadavia booed when Olympic F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Bilintx didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Olympic F.C.'s Higinio Rico got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Olympic F.C. getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cristian Llorienzo hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Independiente Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Quintun. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Rico to make the kick off. Ignacio Otsoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Silvestre Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Israel Cerilo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Israel Cerilo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th match minute, Olympic F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Cerilo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Olympic F.C. booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Llorienzo made a great header on Olympic F.C.'s corner, it was just that Independiente Rivadavia's Gustavo Liher managed to reach the ball for a save. Ignacio Xacintu's late challenge caught a Independiente Rivadavia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Xacintu helped the player get up and apologised. 75 minutes into the match, Olympic F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Otsoa came free, but Silvestre Garikoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Rico took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Liher. Gustavo Liher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Saverio Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silvestre Garikoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Reno in the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, Olympic F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Bilintx to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Reno in the 96th minute of play. Independiente Rivadavia were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Olympic F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
