When Leopoldo Rafel came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Club Atletico Contard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Rafel couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Wilde booed when Club Atletico Contard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Rafel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Laurentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Quinto in the 21st minute of play. Fermin Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Laurentzi having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Contard's goalkeeper Benedicto Laurentzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st match minute, Club Atletico Contard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Valery to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Nerio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atletico Contard fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Wilde. Jacobo Ferrer stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benedicto Laurentzi. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angel Gilen during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Club Atletico Contard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Gilen to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Benedicto Laurentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Theodore, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 92 minutes, Roque Valery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Contard and the Wilde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wilde had won after a very even match.
