After 14 played minutes Rodio FC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Quilino. If Braulio Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Camilo Tomi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Isotopos FC's Joel Espiridion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Isotopos FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ciro Tabby hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Rodio FC's Camilo Tomi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Espiridion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Everardo Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Joel Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rafael Leizarraga fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodio FC's protests and gave Rafael Leizarraga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Isotopos FC booed when Rodio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Niva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Everardo Quilino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Espiridion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Tomi took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Espiridion. Joel Espiridion dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Braulio Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Pablo Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Braulio Milio came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Isotopos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Milio couldn't finish the play. Braulio Milio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Joaquin Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Isotopos FC's goalkeeper Joel Espiridion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isotopos FC's Joel Espiridion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Tomi in the 54th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Camilo Tomi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Espiridion was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When Benigno Aguilera fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 75 minutes, Pablo Deunoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodio FC and the Isotopos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geronimo Niva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute Pablo Deunoro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field.
