Teofilo Sauveur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Garaile went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Iigo to make the kick off. After 74 minutes, Ladislao Corderro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avai FC and the Tambillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ladislao Corderro kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Avai FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Corderro. A collision led to Tambillo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Lázaro Bras hit a great ball. Godfredo Garaile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Avai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Charro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Iigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Teofilo Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avai FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
