Aurelio Osoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Txartiko during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santiago Txartiko kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Godfredo Garaile might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Osoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Garaile ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Iigo was the one to do the kick off. Rigoberto Quirze hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Avai FC's zone, Rogelio Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 杜轩延 came out of the goal and Rogelio Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 played minutes Anderson FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Ostadar. 70 minutes into the match, Anderson FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Osoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Iigo. If Leo Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Anderson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Charro came free, but Aurelio Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaberto Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Aurelio Osoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avai FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
