After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Gonzalez was the one to do the kick off. When Leonardo Hitzeder got free in front of the goal in the 52nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Aurelio Osoitz was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Vladimiro Sagrario came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Club Atlético Talar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Sagrario couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Osoitz came out of the goal and Paulino Favila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimiro Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vladimiro Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Sagrario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Osoitz having to make a save.
