Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Tortugas FC's Alvaro Sarracino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Luciano Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Totty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Gartzen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesus Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 10 minutes, Froilan Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tortugas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Medardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the game, one of Totty:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jesus Telmo came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Totty's Alvaro Normando. But to his dismay, Alvaro Normando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alvaro Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jesus Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Telmo was a little too slow when Luciano Gartzen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. Froilan Medardo scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomás Huly, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Froilan Medardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Huly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Luciano Gartzen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tomás Huly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Gartzen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tortugas FC's Alvaro Sarracino got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Froilan Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jesus Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Luciano Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totty's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Gartzen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alvaro Normando came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Totty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Normando couldn't finish the play. Tomás Huly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Froilan Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tortugas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Huly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jesus Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Gartzen in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Gartzen in the 83rd minute of play forced Tortugas FC's goalkeeper Jesus Telmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciriaco Iyan charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Iyan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tortugas FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ciriaco Iyan hit a great ball. Rosendo Innocenzio kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Luciano Gartzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Telmo having to interfere. Jesus Telmo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Totty's Luciano Gartzen. But to his dismay, Luciano Gartzen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tortugas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Totty.
