Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edelmiro Galoer got the match started through his kick off. Rats's Santo Maraman got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bandera AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Leonel Abella scored to the left of an out of position Aquilino Cai, making the score, 1-0. Niceto Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Galoer in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Everardo Bide made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bandera AFC's Aquilino Cai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Bide in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Cai saved Bandera AFC from getting behind. Leonel Abella struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Aquilino Cai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rats. Aquilino Cai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Santo Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st match minute, Bandera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Cai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Abella in the 33rd minute of play. Alvaro Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aquilino Cai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Bandera AFC's Aquilino Cai got control of the ball when Erubiel Gelacio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erubiel Gelacio took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Cai. Aquilino Cai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Everardo Bide kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aquilino Cai. That made the score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Bide to make the kick off. Aquilino Cai came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Rats's Leonel Abella. But to his dismay, Leonel Abella quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 57th minute, Everardo Bide got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santo Maraman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rats's zone, Ciro Loren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Salvadore came out of the goal and Ciro Loren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6-0 came in the 64th minute when Erubiel Gelacio all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Aquilino Cai. Aquilino Cai came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Rats's Alvaro Padro. But to his dismay, Alvaro Padro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Cayetano Lazcano hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Alvaro Padro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Cai. Bandera AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Padro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Tiadoro in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Cai saved Bandera AFC from getting behind. Justo Uzuri struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Niceto Salvadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandera AFC. Rats's Alvaro Padro got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Abella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Cai having to interfere. Rats's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
