Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nemesio Ihazintu made the kick off which started today's match. Guajal AFC's Celestino Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Dominguez in the 3rd minute of play. When Guajal AFC's Nemesio Ihazintu in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canallas RC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 4th match minute, Canallas RC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Meder to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Nemesio Ihazintu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robustiano Guillen. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Marco Meder hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Jacinto Roldanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Guillen having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Canallas RC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Meder to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Ihazintu in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Canallas RC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Ihazintu came free, but Robustiano Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Siro Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guajal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Bihar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Guillen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nemesio Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robustiano Guillen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Ihazintu's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 39th minute, Claudio Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Diego Maju sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robustiano Guillen skillfully saved the ball. Amadeo Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Celestino Tonio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Dominguez in the 47th minute of play forced Guajal AFC's goalkeeper Celestino Tonio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Guajal AFC's Jacinto Roldanillo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Amadeo Dominguez might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Tonio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Dominguez ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Amadeo Dominguez made the kick off in the second half. If Nemesio Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robustiano Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Amadeo Dominguez came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Canallas RC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Dominguez couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Augusto Ofelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Bihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Bermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Tonio having to interfere. Robustiano Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Maximino Isadore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Ihazintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Guillen having to interfere. Claudio Manex hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute, Siro Bihar made a precise shot to the right of Robustiano Guillen. Canallas RC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Guajal AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Canallas RC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
