Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 0) Rincón's Fidel Cucao started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Laurin in the 6th minute of play forced Rincón's goalkeeper Jaime Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Txindoki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Dolfos went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Horacio Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 17 minutes, Tomas Dolfos made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rincón's Jaime Txindoki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Evaristo Laurin fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medinas's protests and gave Evaristo Laurin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Evaristo Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Guerrero struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Edelmiro Orland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rincón. Rincón's Lino Bitxintxo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Cucao was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lino Bitxintxo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edelmiro Orland firmly grabbed it by the left post. Medinas's Edelmiro Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Cucao in the 32nd minute of play. Fidel Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Orland having to interfere. A collision led to Medinas getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Enrique Nuno hit a great ball. Angelino Xabier's late challenge caught a Medinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Xabier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Angelino Xabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Enrique Nuno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Txindoki. Rincón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Nuno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Fidel Cucao took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Edelmiro Orland to make any attempt to save it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Elias Guerrero's late challenge caught a Medinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Guerrero helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes Rincón got a freekick which was hit by Elias Guerrero. 55 minutes into the match, Rincón's goalkeeper Jaime Txindoki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Laurin. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Laurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Txindoki was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Fidel Cucao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rincón's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Tomas Dolfos scored to the left of an out of position Jaime Txindoki, making the score, 1-4. Edelmiro Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Cucao in the 71st minute of play. Edelmiro Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Markel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Evaristo Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Laurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Txindoki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Horacio Tohias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaime Txindoki. That made the score 1-5 in the 82 minute of play. In the 87th minute Fidel Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Dolfos in the 97th minute of play forced Rincón's goalkeeper Jaime Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fidel Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Medinas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
