Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Dolfos started the match with the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Medinas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Astilleros FC:s goal. In the 8th minute, Leopoldo Sotil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Orland was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Enrique Nuno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Medinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Nuno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Laurin struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Erasmo Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medinas. 16 minutes into the match, Generoso Urtun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Orland. Medinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Urtun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Enrique Nuno fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medinas's protests and gave Enrique Nuno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Medinas's Enrique Nuno got a free kick in the 18th minute. Edelmiro Orland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Endira in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Evaristo Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Lucas Endira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astilleros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Endira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Txaran struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Edelmiro Orland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astilleros FC. After some careless play in the Astilleros FC defense, Evaristo Laurin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Azevedo. The Astilleros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Azevedo should have stopped the shot.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Endira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute Generoso Urtun came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edelmiro Orland. 2-3. Medinas's Edelmiro Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Endira in the 58th minute of play. Erasmo Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Laurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Astilleros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Txaran to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Horacio Tohias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Generoso Urtun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edelmiro Orland. That made the score 2-4 in the 70 minute of play. Medinas's Edelmiro Orland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Medinas from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Medinas's Evaristo Laurin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Eusko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Orland made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Sotil sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Edelmiro Orland threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Leopoldo Sotil this time. After 84 minutes, Elvio Oliverios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medinas and the Astilleros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edelmiro Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Endira, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 90th minute, Evaristo Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Augusto Txaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Astilleros FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
