The supporters of Medinas booed when Guajal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Roldanillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The penalty shot was made by Eulalio Vimaro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guajal AFC's Celestino Tonio. 0-1. When Siro Bihar fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guajal AFC's protests and gave Siro Bihar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute of the match Leopoldo Dei sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Tonio skillfully saved the ball. When Mauro Mateus fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guajal AFC's protests and gave Mauro Mateus a yellow card for diving instead. Mauro Mateus kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Guajal AFC's Celestino Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Vimaro in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Bihar got free with Edelmiro Orland in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evaristo Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Laurin might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celestino Tonio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Laurin ran back to his position shaking his head. Celestino Tonio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Laurin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Bihar got free with Edelmiro Orland in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celestino Tonio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Evaristo Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Tohias took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Tonio. Celestino Tonio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Horacio Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Medinas's Evaristo Laurin in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guajal AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Edelmiro Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Tomas Dolfos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celestino Tonio. Tomas Dolfos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. A collision led to Guajal AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jacinto Roldanillo hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Evaristo Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Tonio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guajal AFC's Celestino Tonio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Dolfos in the 92nd minute of play. Medinas's Horacio Tohias got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Guajal AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mauro Mateus hit a great ball. Medinas were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Guajal AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eulalio Vimaro took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Eulalio Vimaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celestino Tonio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Medinas played a much better game than Guajal AFC and deserved their victory. The Guajal AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
