The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Feliciano Noe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Cai having to interfere. Ciro Loren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Cesar Kepa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Jacobo Hurko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aquilino Cai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Baldomero Liberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Cai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Hurko, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mario Felo during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes El Xeneise FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Felo. In the 29th minute, Primitivo Gauargi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Xeneise FC's Cesar Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Galoer in the 43rd minute of play. The Bandera AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Xeneise FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliciano Noe made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Gogo Txindoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Hurko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Aquilino Cai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edelmiro Galoer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st play minute Jacobo Hurko came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aquilino Cai. 0-2. Cesar Kepa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Galoer, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of El Xeneise FC booed when Bandera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Eufemio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, El Xeneise FC's Feliciano Noe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquilino Cai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aquilino Cai made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Jacobo Hurko sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Edelmiro Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Galoer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Kepa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Justo Uzuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ciro Loren came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Bandera AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Loren couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Xeneise FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
