Eusebio Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in River's zone, Adrian Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Esiquio came out of the goal and Adrian Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of River booed when Pitusi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Breogan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Pitusi FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eusebio Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes Pitusi FC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Isadore. Eusebio Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Marcos Guifre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Lucio Reno hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Adrian Erlantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pitusi FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Joseph in the 70th minute of play forced River's goalkeeper Tadeo Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pitusi FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Americo Nisio hit a great ball. Marcos Guifre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Reno in the 76th minute of the match. Pitusi FC's Damian Vimaro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tadeo Esiquio but with some difficulty.
