With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Cucao in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Cai saved Bandera AFC from getting behind. Lino Bitxintxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 minutes, Humberto Roldanillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rincón and the Bandera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, one of Rincón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Loren to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Rincón got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Lop. Bandera AFC's Aquilino Cai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Bitxintxo in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Julian Ishmael sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bandera AFC's Aquilino Cai didn't even have to move. When Humberto Roldanillo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. The supporters of Bandera AFC booed when Rincón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Roldanillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 minutes of play, Rincón's Lino Bitxintxo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
