Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Laureano Osasun started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Remigio got free with Anier Acuña in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the game, Libertad's Gervasio Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Sergi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Laureano Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Remigios short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Anier Acuña to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gervasio Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Sergi having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Monoblock FC's Tomás Remigio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anier Acuña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anier Acuña came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Monoblock FC's Tomás Remigio. But to his dismay, Tomás Remigio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 3-1 became the score in the 42nd minute when Laureano Osasun elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 45 played minutes Monoblock FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Remigio. 46 minutes into the match, Libertad's Zeledon Bonifaco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Sergi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Gervasio Marques made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Tomás Remigio put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anier Acuña. After 57 minutes, Ceferino Virila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monoblock FC and the Libertad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ceferino Virila kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Tobias Sergi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeledon Bonifaco went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Tobias Sergi was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Gervasio Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gervasio Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. In the 72nd minute Braulio Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Acuña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Laureano Osasun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anier Acuña. Libertad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laureano Osasun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Laureano Osasun took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Acuña. Anier Acuña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. Tomás Remigio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anier Acuña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Osasun, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Monoblock FC's Tomás Remigio got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Monoblock FC fully deserved thier win.
