In the 6th minute Baltasar Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Baltasar Cordarrel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of dream team's Astor Loiola. Astor Loiola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute of the match Elvio Osoitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Loiola skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Cordarrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Loiola was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 21st play minute Victoriano Arixo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Javier Inautzi. 2-1. dream team's Astor Loiola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Cordarrel in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, dream team's Javier Bonadona got a free kick in the 25th minute. Lucio Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. The supporters of dream team booed when Yapeyú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in dream team's zone, Baltasar Cordarrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Loiola came out of the goal and Baltasar Cordarrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

If German Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Baltasar Cordarrel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Astor Loiola. The goal made the score 2-2. 60 minutes into the match, German Leoiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Loiola. dream team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that German Leoiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Lucio Rocio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Baltasar Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, one of dream team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for dream team. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Etxekopar during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. German Leoiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Astor Loiola made a huge save. Baltasar Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucio Rocio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Inautzi having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Yapeyú AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Raebert. A nice corner shot did that Ricardo Roderigo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Javier Inautzi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Astor Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When German Leoiar came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Yapeyú AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Leoiar couldn't finish the play. Baltasar Cordarrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yapeyú AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
