Julio Corderun hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Melquiades Urtsua hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Geronimo Ofelio could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Braulio Mano however easily saved by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Maipú's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Joachim came free, but Fausto Haitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Serafino Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Navia's Braulio Mano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Lobo in the 36th minute of play. Serafino Lobo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Braulio Mano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Maipú. The supporters of Club Sportivo Maipú booed when Navia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 86 played minutes, Club Sportivo Maipú's Baldomiro Cordaryal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Braulio Mano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Sportivo Maipú reached it. Braulio Mano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Geronimo Ofelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Navia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
